without extremes.

How It Works

Strong & Steady is built around four intentional phases. Each phase builds on the last so progress feels steady, realistic and sustainable.

❋ Phase 1: Lifestyle Recalibration

We start by creating space and structure.

In this phase, we apply my simple system to help you:

  • Prioritize your health without overhauling your life

  • Reduce overwhelm and manage stress

  • Create clarity around your goals and daily routines

You’ll begin adding 1–2 foundational habits at a time, focusing on becoming the person you want to be rather than trying to do everything at once.

❋ Phase 2: Customized Nutrition

Once your foundation is in place, we turn our focus to nutrition.

During this phase, you’ll:

  • Work toward nutrition targets that align with your specific goals

  • Learn a simple, flexible formula for building quick, low-prep meals

  • Understand how to create balanced meals to feel full and satisfied

  • Identify lean protein and fiber sources and practical ways to include them in meals and snacks

The goal is clarity and consistency, not restriction.

❋ Phase 3: Customized Strength Training

Next, we layer in strength training that fits your body and lifestyle.

After a brief assessment, you’ll receive a personalized strength program based on:

  • Your movement patterns and training experience

  • Available equipment (or no equipment at all)

  • The amount of time you realistically have

You’ll receive coaching and feedback so you feel confident in what you’re doing and why you’re doing it.

❋ Phase 4: Momentum

This phase is about sustainability and confidence.

Here, we:

  • Adjust your plan as life changes

  • Navigate vacations, holidays and busy seasons

  • Create strategies for maintaining progress without starting over

No matter what comes up, you’ll have a plan and the skills to keep moving forward.

Client Experience

“I never feel like I’m on a diet, and nothing is off-limits so I never feel restricted.”

Prior to working with Dee, I was incredibly frustrated with my weight. I had just entered menopause, and no matter what I did, I continued to gain weight and lose muscle mass. I can’t remember a time in my adult life when I wasn’t “dieting” or on some kind of weight-loss program.

I tried Weight Watchers and Noom, losing 5–10 pounds, only to regain it and then some. When I turned 50, I joined an online fitness community with a one-size-fits-all nutrition and fitness plan. I lost about 30 pounds on a very restrictive diet but quickly regained the weight because it wasn’t sustainable.

I decided to work with Dee for several reasons. Her approach was truly customized to me, and the way she describes where people are mentally and physically when they’re ready for coaching felt spot on, especially after trying so many other programs. I had also seen firsthand the success of a friend who completed her program.

After three months working with Dee, I can honestly say I value the accountability and the knowledge I’ve gained around how to eat and move in a way that supports my goals. I never feel like I’m on a diet, and nothing is off-limits so I never feel restricted. I feel empowered with nutrition knowledge and confident strengthening my body in ways I never imagined.

The positive changes have been incredible. I’ve lost 7 inches, I’m down 13 pounds, and I’m physically and mentally stronger. My clothes fit better, others notice the changes, and most importantly, I feel better. I travel for work, vacation, and maintain a social life, and no matter the situation, I can enjoy it all with confidence and without stress.

If you’re reading this and feel like you’ve tried everything—or that nothing is working—you’re in the right place. If you want a coach who is truly invested in your health and helps you understand the why behind the fundamentals, look no further than Dee Vega and her Strong & Steady program. It’s aptly named and led by the best coach I’ve ever had.”
